Vietnam was voted “World’s Best Golf Destination” for the second year in a row

Vietnam was voted the best golf destination in the world and Asia in 2021 according to the announcement at the 8th World Golf Awards.
This is the second year that Vietnam is honored to receive the world's best golf destination award (2019, 2021) and the fifth consecutive year to be recognized as the best golf destination in Asia (2017-2021) by the World Golf Awards.
Along with becoming the leading destination in Asia, this international recognition gives Vietnam a massive opportunity to become an attraction center for tourists to visit once the Covid-19 epidemic has been successfully controlled.

“Vietnam, where the golf market is reviving, makes a big win at the awarding ceremony 2021 with the titles of Asia's Best Golf Destination 2021 and World's Best Golf Destination 2021”, a representative of the WGA organization said at the award ceremony.
Launched in 2014, WGA is an award that aims to raise the standards in the world’s golf industry. It honors leaders in each of their respective fields of golf.
The results of the awards are presented by leading experts in the global golf industry, the media, and the public; the awards in each category are given to the candidates with the highest number of votes. This is the world’s most prestigious award in the golf field, belonging to the World Travel Awards system.

In the year 2021, the title of the world's best golf course belonged to Augusta National Golf Club (USA), while Ba Na Hills Golf Club (Da Nang) was honored as "Asia's best golf course".
The Vietnam National Administration of Tourism commented that this award is not only important to the sport of golf but also to the entire tourism industry in Vietnam.
Whereby, along with the title of "the best golf destination in the world", there has been a series of international awards recently awarded to Vietnamese tourism in terms of tourist attractions, culture, resorts, and cuisine. These awards will create a strong resonance, thus forming an appealing product chain as Vietnam reopens international tourism.
